#PARANORMAL ACTIVITY THE MARKED ONES REVIEWS MOVIE#
I was actually sitting on the edge of my seat for the entire movie because the jump out of your seat scares are very unpredictable which makes it an awesome movie for horror fans. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones contains nude scenes (a n**ed woman painting with blood on another n**ed woman), violence, lots of gore, profanity, drug use, and creepy little girls with no eyes who so terrified me. I got emotionally connected to the actors and felt sorrow for them when something bad happens. Its a movie that has everything that I enjoy. Hector and Jesse is the comedians in this movie, so when there wasn’t comedy, there was suspense and thrills. The movie has a lot of humor in it which made it enjoyable to watch. After a few events, Jesse learns that he is a "marked one" and has a spirit watching over him and also that he has supernatural powers that makes him immune to damage and makes him faster and stronger. Jesse and Hector went to their m**dered neighbor’s apartment and found creepy/scary spiritual black magic things. Jesse and Hector ( Jorge Diaz - Grand Theft Auto V, Love Concord, Filly Brown) are friends who gets into shenanigans in their urban gang neighborhood everyday according to the first 20 minutes of the horror film. The demon is the same demon who tortured Kristie and Katie in previous Paranormal Activity movies. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones is about an ordinary teenager named Jesse ( Andrew Jacobs) who is marked by a demon. He may not have directed much and he may be young but I appreciated what he did with this chapter of Paranormal Activity. He also directed Only Child in 1996, Burning Palms in 2010 and Making the Video which is a television documentary in 1999. He executed this horror movie tremendously well. This movie also contains more gore than the previous ones.ĭirector Christopher Landon outdid himself with this movie. I must say if you are a fan of Paranormal Activity franchise one through four then you will be happy to see Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones because it answers so many questions/events from the first films. It was worth the wait and I will see it again. I couldn’t wait to see this movie and it was truly because of the amazing trailer I saw.
